Mandatory Education for Officials
Changes to the California Rule of Court make it mandatory for all
court employees, including court reporters, to complete eight hours
of continuing education every two years.
These continuing education requirements may be met by getting your
supervisor to pre-approve your attendance at the seminars at the
CCRA convention.

has just completed a $40 million renovation. CCRA attendees will receive
brand new accommodations

wireless internet connections and iPod PM3 alarm clock radios.
CCRA is
receiving convention
rate of only $139.00
a night, single or double.

Help
a student attend this year’s convention. You can sponsor the
registration or donate a flat fee to help pay for accommodations,
travel, etc. Sponsorship donations will be distributed after the
convention.

DRESS CODE
Business casual is suggested
for convention activities. While the average temperature in
Las Vegas in is 82/56 degrees the temperature
in hotel meeting rooms are sometimes cool so we suggest you bring
sweaters and/or jackets.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
must be received in writing (fax or e-mail accepted) by 5:00 PM,
Friday September 19, 2008, to qualify for a refund. There will
be a $25 ($15 for students) processing fee for all refunds. No refunds
for cancellations received after 5:00 PM, September 19 , 2008. There
will be a $10 processing fess for all refunds.
